I’ve never been to America and I’ve never met any Americans, however, it’s generally safe to assume that they are all lazy and stupid and ignorant.

How then, did they become the most powerful nation in the world? Was it luck? Was it strategy? Was it some other factor, such as natural resources?

I ask because this finanical crisis we’re having seems to be the changing of the tide and USA and the west in general will probably no longer enjoy its dominance. How then, will the people of emerging nations such as China and India become as their own nation becomes more affluent?

Will they become just like the Americans are now? Being wasteful and stupid and lazy people taking everything for granted? Or will they maintain their hard work ethic and good hearted nature?
